The beautiful and talented Yaya DaCosta, Actress and Model to host the 14th Annual Summer Sizzle BVI 2024

Summer Sizzle BVI has become the Caribbean’s premiere fashion and lifestyle destination experience in the British Virgin Islands. This 14th-year anniversary event is scheduled for July 25 – 28, 2024 creating an epic mix of Fashion, Art, Music, Beauty & Culture.

Celebrities, VIP Guests, top international and local models, kid models, fashion designers, beauty insiders, media influencers, local artists, and top DJs, are all lined up for this spectacular event.

Celebrity Host

Yaya DaCosta, renowned from America’s Next Top Model Cycle 3, will grace us as the host of this year’s event. With notable roles in “Our Kind of People” and “Chicago Med,” she’s left an indelible mark on both television and film. Noteworthy credits include her portrayal in the jazz biopic “Bolden” alongside Nelsan Ellis, Ian McShane, and Gary Carr, as well as her starring role in the 2015 Whitney Houston biopic “Whitney,” directed by Angela Bassett. Currently captivating audiences as Andrea Freemann, a cut-throat prosecutor, in the second season of “The Lincoln Lawyer,” Yaya brings her unique blend of talent and charisma to the Global Glamour Runway Show on Saturday, July 29, 2024.

What’s new this year?

Cape Air Dress to impress contest!
Three best-dressed female and male audience members will be selected by a judging panel and will face off on the Runway. The male and female winners will be determined by the crowd applause, with each receiving a round trip ticket on Cape Air to anywhere the airline flies.

Elevated VIP Experience
We are creating a VIP Premium Seating Area where guests can sit in the VIP Lounge for the Cocktail Reception from 6:00PM – 7:30PM and view the show with cocktails, wine and hors d’oeuvres.

Summer Sizzle BVI is also launching two beautifully customized totes, t-shirts, and sunglasses that will be available for purchase. VIP Premium Ticket Holders will receive the custom Summer Sizzle BVI vibrant-printed tote.

VIP Front Row and VIP Second Row tickets will include the Cocktail Reception and our Custom SSBVI Island Print tote.

Calling BVI Artists
When Art Meets Fashion Gala will provide a platform for local artists to showcase their work at Long Bay Beach Resort, where works will be on display from Wednesday July 24 to Friday July 26. The artists will also have an opportunity to display at the Global Glamour Runway Show on Saturday July 27 at the Multi-Purpose Sports Complex.

The Runway

The show will be styled by Memsor Kamarake, Celebrity Stylist and the always dazzling Children’s Presentation will be in partnership with “Who’s Styling Who”, Khaliah Clark, Celebrity Stylist.
