HOW DID YOU TWO MEET?
We go way back. First meeting – we would have to say probably the HIHO REDSTRIPE surf series on Josiah’s Bay back in the early 2000s when we were about 9 or 10 years old.
HOW DID YOU TWO GET ENGAGED?
We had been together for 8 or 9 years and we went to visit Nicola’s mother’s hometown of Chester in England. We were on a walk down the river with our two oldest sons and as we crossed one of the bridges out came a ring. Of course, the answer was an immediate YES.

HOW DID YOU TWO PERSONALIZE THE EVENT?
We did everything personal to us. From the invitations, the location, the décor, the food. It was a family affair, so family and friends came together and contributed in whichever way they could.
WHAT SONG WAS USED FOR YOUR FIRST DANCE?
Bailando – Enrique Iglesias and Sean Paul
WHERE DID YOU HONEYMOON?
We had friends and family visiting, so we did our honeymoon staycation style. Though we did manage to sneak away to Dominica for a week in October which was beautiful.
WHAT WAS THE CEREMONY VENUE CHOSEN?
We chose Sprat Point, right at the end of Trellis Bay.

WHICH BUSINESS CATERED YOUR SPECIAL OCCASION?
We had several caterers who joined forces to create an amazing buffet setup. We had Irie Ites, MLJ Restaurant, and Martin Francis on the BBQ, followed by a dessert buffet by Kenetha Ashton. Late night patties and Johnny Cakes provided by Crandalls. The food was all incredible.
WHERE WAS THE RECEPTION HELD?
Jeremy’s Kitchen – Trellis Bay. This was the perfect venue for us. It was a beautiful setting with plenty of space for all our guests. They went above and beyond to make sure our day was everything we imagined.

Laura DelBeato – BLOW hair
WHO SERVED AS THE MAKE-UP ARTIST?
Claire Wassell – Sayuri La Belle Make up.

Good Food, Good Music and good company. Then just enjoy it. Don’t let small details get to you. As long as you are enjoying it that is what matters – it really is the best day of your life.
