Upstairs @ Quito’s-The newest beach chic fine dining spot at Cane Garden Bay!

The only thing missing was the sand instead of the charcoal floor tiles to complete the ‘beachie coconut grove atmosphere’ that the Upstairs @ Quito’s has mastered to perfection in achieving, but of course, that is where the line was drawn between the beach bars and fine dining.
The white walls and table tops were adorned with bursts of colourful and powerful paintings along with famous songs and favorite flowers and sea shells from the man himself- Quito. The look is completed with coconut and palm trees giving you the illusion that you are dining in the open, underneath the stars and sky especially when the lights come on above.
But the best features are the home away from home feeling that is not for a selected few only but for all, the scrumptious meals of fresh seafood, top quality meats, house made bread and dessert, which are all carefully crafted and presented to please your eyes and excite your pallet, coupled with house mixes called-Sun Cooler, Obama Blast, Quito’s Legend and Reggae Express.
Oh! I almost forgot to mention one critical part of the entire Upstairs @ Quito’s experience…the v.i.e.w! Whether it is night or day, you are sure to delight in your meal a little longer while you get lost in the expanse of the ocean usually flocked with vessels of all kinds and models and the beach below, typically clustered with beach combers.
Upstairs @ Quito’s, is located up the stairs of Quito’s Gazebo, overlooking one of the most visited, sugar white beach hubs in the Virgin Islands-Cane Garden Bay.
Quito’s Gazebo was established in 1983, a far difference to what currently exists today, which was necessary to keep up with the times as well as to better serve their many happy customers. The changes continued in 2016 with the latest edition of the Beach Chic, fine dining restaurant, fashioned to merge with the beautiful bay washing up on the shores just underneath the gazebo and the natural surroundings.
The young chefs: Ian, Dwayne, and Roger are the same Chefs who wowed your pallet from the famous Rose Wood, Little Dix Bay Hotel, in Virgin Gorda. They have now joined the team and have stepped up to make the new Upstairs @ Quito’s a true fine dining experience with a beach chic vibe. Upstairs @ Quito’s is open Wednesday-Saturday, 6.30 pm- 9:00 pm.
Up to 58 persons can comfortably dine at any given time and more for buffet types.
Downstairs in the Gazebo is a more relaxed venue with happy hour every day from 5-7 pm, complete with live music. While you are at it, be sure to check out their well-stocked gift shop with local souvenirs such as the rum from Callwood’s Distillery, Quito’s paintings, and Quito’s CD’s, to name a few.
Quito’s Gazebo is open daily serving lunch and dinner. On Friday’s you can catch the well-known Quito Rymer and the Edge Band as they entertain with tunes guaranteed to make you dance the night away. And, hey, if you are too tired to go home, next season Quito’s Inn will be ready with 18 rooms and three suites all named after his songs. A meeting room, spa, gift shop, parking area and pool are also part of the designs. The first floor will be dedicated to parking to easing the parking squeeze, while the second floor is expected to have a pool table and a piano for entertainment.
The changes to Quito’s Gazebo and Inn are being made to fulfill requests from guests wanting have a more upscale experience in Cane Garden Bay. In making these changes Quito hopes he will also be offering another dining choice for locals, as well as guests to the BVI.
