Give me a brief history of Olde Yard Village

Olde Yard Village was formerly known as Olde Yard Inn. At that time, it was an 11-room establishment with no pool, an extraordinary library and restaurant. It was and still is a condominium resort that offered the vacationer all the conveniences of a luxury hotel and also offered the comfort of spacious apartments set in a tropical garden overlooking the sea. At that time the informal poolside restaurant was in a bistro setting called La Brasserie, later on known as the Dip and Sip, Baracuda and now The Village Café.

What makes this place so special? Tell me all about the landscape, the menu, chef, staff, amenities, etc.

A perfect getaway for families, groups and couples, Virgin Gorda Village Hotel is set amidst tropical gardens around a hillside, Olde Yard Village is a charming condominium community with over 30 spacious 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom condominiums offering nightly guest rentals, short term (up to six months) and long term rentals, all with generously proportioned patios, full kitchen, a/c, television, internet and access to all our facilities (gym, pool, tennis court).
